Position Title: Executive Assistant (Assist Managing Director)
Location: Karu, Abuja

Reports To: Managing Director (MD)
Job Summary:
As an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director (MD) , you will play a critical role in supporting the MD in strategic planning, business development, and daily operations. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Support:
Assist the MD in developing and implementing business strategies.
Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Prepare business proposals, reports, and presentations for the MD.
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Support the MD in negotiations and contract management.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth functioning of the agency.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment with business goals.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for the MD.
Administrative Support:
Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule meetings, and organize travel arrangements.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
Project Management:
Lead and manage special projects as assigned by the MD.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project execution.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between the MD and staff, clients, and partners.
Draft and edit correspondence, communications, and other documents on behalf of the MD.
Facilitate internal communication to promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business executive role, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
Proven experience in business development and strategic planning.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
Knowledge of travel industry regulations and best practices.
